The Secrets of Chateau Swansea is quite an enjoyable read with a very well written plot!

I was blown away by the story, which was tightly plotted and featured unforgettable characters in Arthur and Maribeth. The red herrings did their jobs well; I couldn't guess who the villain is! Just when I thought I had it nailed than something happened or someone said something and my hunches would change. The mystery and romantic conflict kept me riveted until the very last page.

This is my first gothic romance and it won't be my last. Maribeth has a truly unique and interesting background, and I'm interested to see when she first appeared, which is in her guardian's book, I believe.

Though this author may be new to some (including me), I find this definitely worth a read, a story that will surely keep you at the edge of your seats! Thoroughly satisfying and enjoyable!
